Google has officially fixed a problem that was causing search results to show up incorrectly. The issue started on Friday, August 16th, and was fixed today, August 20th.
According to Google’s official status page, the problem was resolved at 8:10 AM ET.
Yesterday, John Mueller from Google said that the problem was mostly fixed, but the team wanted to make sure it was fixed entirely before announcing it.
Now that the issue is fully resolved, you can check to see if your website’s rankings have changed because of the recent Google update.
